Last week marked a milestone in the history of Plinky with the closing of our first round of financing. Om Malik wrote about our financing on Gigaom a few weeks ago before the round had formally closed so I wanted to introduce a few more of our backers.
We eventually accepted $1.6M in total from Polaris Venture Partners as well as insightful social software pals Jeff Clavier of SoftTech VC and Mike Jones of Userplane/AOL. We are happy to have them on board and look forward to working with them as Plinky takes shape.

Congrats on the financing. Polaris is a great VC. I work at a polaris backed company now and worked at one 10 years ago as well. It is good to have Sim as an advisor. Good luck
Lucky you

I wanna work for Plinky--can't find your recruiting site. Do you have one?
me too! i'd be interested to know what hiring opportunities you have or might have in the future. i've got the complacent bug too and would like to change directions!
can we buy shares? Are you planning on going public?
Hi,
I helped develop an idea that would go great on social sites but our group needed an outlet to present. I feel that you might like what we have to offer. Any possibility of arranging a quick talk? (mfineman@gmail.com).
Good luck with your venture!
yea, I'm curious about stock as well. Or a job too. I'm not super computer savvy but I'm an idea man.. and super creative. Hope all is well.
